CG Oh, I loved that one. It was really, really silky smooth. It went on really nice. It wasn't heavy, and it felt like a lot of moisture. It made my skin feel great. I loved it. BF When were you using it? CG I used it day and night. I would use that and then put a very light moisturizer over it. I thought it was great, I loved it. Really smoothing. It felt really light, it really soaked in. It felt really smooth and silky. BF Did you notice a difference in the appearance in your skin after using it? CG Yeah, a glow, definitely. It really smoothed out the texture. It gave a glow - not an oily shine, but kind of a nice glowy shine on my skin. It was a really beautiful product.

JL I like vitamin C. I remember liking the feel of it a lot. It felt silky. Often times Vitamin C serums get inactive quickly. When it's exposed to air the Vitamin C doesn't work anymore the way it should. The way you can tell is if it changes color, it gets a little brownish.
BF This packaging has an
airless pump.
JL Yeah. It was a very nice product. Any antioxidant quality that it had was beneficial and it felt nice. BF I would love for you to speak about Vitamin C, because I know you're a fan of Vitamin C in general. JL In general, anti-oxidants are very important for your skin. Any anti-oxidants that you can apply in a concentrated amount on your skin are going to be beneficial. The best antioxidant is green tea, but Vitamin C is also very effective. Anti-oxidants should be countering oxidation damage which we get daily from the sun. So having an antioxidant on your skin is protecting your skin from the outside environment. Vitamin C, in studies, helps to increase firmness of the skin by promoting collagen synthesis. BF What about Vitamin A? JL Vitamin A is great when you use very high amounts for preventing aging - that's what all the retinols are.

Lisa Hoffman is a person who really thinks about skincare. You can travel with this. This serum is just how I like - thick, free of any cloying scents, and works. It's a great layering serum. I like a thicker serum and a lighter moisturizer at night.

MS I really like the Lisa Hoffman serum - I like it more for evening. It has a gel, oily texture, but it absorbs very nicely. I saturate my skin with this at night after I wash my face and use it as a night treatment. And it smells yummy, it smells delicious. At first, I thought this serum was too greasy upon initial application. But then I watched it, and felt it evenly absorb into my skin.

MS My skin felt softer after using it and I will continue to apply it regularly to achieve the desired results. When I wake up in the morning after using the Lisa Hoffman Vitamin A&C Serum, my skin feels great. It feels supple, and it feels moisturized. I almost don't even have to wash my face, it's that nice.

I need another one I used it all up. I Love it, I love it! I could not get enough. It is one of my favorite products. The combination of Vitamin A & C, I don't know what it did, but I would put it on at night and I'm five years younger. People don't believe my age when I tell them. It really is a beautiful product. I wish I had an unlimited supply of that. I love the packaging too. BF When did you start to see a difference in your skin? SJ I saw an immediate difference. The next day I woke up and my eyes looked fresher. It definitely works beautifully. It takes away the crepey-ness - especially when you get a little dry in the winter. The moisture content of the skin is rejuvenated. I felt like the cells on my skin have definitely been activated. That's a product that works.

I'm liking this a lot so far. I used it before bed and put moisturizer over it and woke with a happy, even skin toned face (not coated with oiliness, like I worried). Also, when used in the morning underneath an SPF moisturizer, it did well! I also used it on my under eye area (as I'd read reviews online of ppl doing it) and it created a nice smoothness. Does this have silicone in it? It feels like you're coating your skin with a thin layer of silicone, but then it sinks in. Oh and the packaging DOES suck. When I first got my box, some of the product was oozing out underneath the ring where the cap is. It was orange/brown gooey, so I assume it was oxidized product. For shame! But it still works well enough.

I have kept it to PM use only and have found for me, that works much better. By morning, my skin is soft, supple and plump. Would definitely purchase. And just as I suspected..I was in no way disappointed!! It goes on so smooth and makes your skin feel like silk the moment you put it on. I use it day and night after a cleansing and toning my face. I still follow up with a moisturizer even though I am sure that it is not needed. The serum is thick but it doesn't feel that way when its on your face. It's absolutely amazing and I am DEFINITELY going to continue using it and recommend it to all of my friends. Thank you Beauty Fix for giving me the opportunity to try this amazing product!!

I had received this in an earlier kit, and found it to be a terrific serum in the winter when my skin tends to dry out. I use it only at night and when I wake up the next morning, my skin is supple and soft. I ordered it again when I ran out, and was so happy to see it offered again. It does not leave a filmy residue behind in the morning, and it really just takes a pea sized amount, so a little goes a long way!

I woke the next morning and thought, "Damn, I look good for 4 AM- then realized I had used the serum the night before. I thought is was just a coincidence, so I used it again- same results. I am a BIG fan of this product. It also made me feel really good about the products that are offered in my BeautyFix kit- this serum alone cost about $93 bucks. I liked it enough that I would pay that price for it!

I was afraid it would make my skin feel greasy and look shiny, but it quickly soaked in was totally absorbed leaving no oily residue. Now I love it! I think it has improved the overall condition of my skin. I would recommend it but it does take a little getting used to at first.

I am 24 and wrinkles aren't a huge concern (yet) but my skin has been a dry mess because of the harsh winter (bitter cold outside, dry heat inside) and the use of a retinol. I have combo skin that is very sensitive and very acne prone. This product did not make me break out, even though the tick texture freaked me out a bit at first. It goes on a little greasy (might be too much for summer) but it does absorb after a few minutes. I put a light SPF moisturizer over the serum and follow with mineral powder foundation. The result is super soft skin without a greasy look - just a glow. My skin is noticeably smooth and happier. Despite the weather and my acne regime, my skin is not flaking. Love it!

I've found this serum to be quite effective on my normal skin. I see clarity and radiance after three days' use. I use this day and night. It needs a minute or two to sink in, but it's worth the wait. Extra-sensitive skin might not like the lavender scent, but it did not bother mine. I'll definitely purchase when this bottle runs empty.

I do multi-stage bike races and between the sun, sunscreen, and sweat all day long - my skin is usually very unhappy and unhealthy looking by the end of the week. I took this on the last race I did and used it at night after cleansing. My skin was glowing by the end of the week - with no dry spots or blemishes. This cream is awesome and I was bummed when the container was empty. Will definitely buy again!! There are a lot of A & C serums out there, but I enjoyed this one more than most I've sampled. It is way better than Bare Escentuals' product as it was silkier and didn't irritate my skin. It was on the level of a high end serum like PCA Skin's, but left that silky smooth finish that PCA's serum doesn't. I like that it contains real citrus and lavendar instead of lab compounds too. All-in-all, it is a great product, but it might have been too heavy for me to want to buy (I'm a 20-something). My mother and aunt loved it though, and I'd reccomend it to people over 35 or with premature age damage.

I've been using this product for a while now and really do love it! I can only use it on the dry areas of my face (forehead, eye area, cheeks) because the oily parts of my skin break out if I apply it in those areas. I noticed a big difference on my forehead--the lines were greatly diminished when I use this product. I really feel like it makes my skin look younger since I started using it. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the fragrance--to me it smells like sugar cookies or vanilla which seems unusual to me. I don't equate this fragrance with skin care/moisturizers. I prefer the fruity, citrusy fragrances or none. The fragrance is subtle enough to overlook though because the product really works!

It feels a little bit greasy and the absorption is kind of fussy - some of it will absorb well immediately, but then I kind of feel like it's resurfacing throughout the day. If I use it at night, I will wake up with nice moisturized skin, but I've come to realize that I personally need any products I use on my face to work for both night and day, because I am lazy. Seems like a great product, it's just not for me.

I LOVE this serum! It made my skin softer and (I have no idea how) seemed to reduce the blemishes as well. Maybe it's the Vitamin A. I too had problems with the container, which is just odd. But that was my only complaint. I agree with others that while it seems oily at first, it absorbs quickly.

When I initially put this product on, I thought it was pretty oily, but I was surprised how quickly it absorbed and it really did make the area under my eyes look more smooth and youthful. Not a bad price on this product either. I would buy it again.

I love this product! I'm very fair skinned and have always lived in dry climates. In other words, I'm about the best candidate for deep wrinkles. I don't believe in plastic surgery, so I have been searching for something that can work for me. This made the wrinkles I have look smoother. I have a more even skin tone (and believe me, every skincare sin shows up on my face - if I don't eat right, don't get enough sleep, use the wrong product - you can see it on my face). I'll buy this again.

If you find this product to "greasy" to use directly on your skin, try mixing a tiny bit in with your foundation to make it a bit more sheer.

Though I haven't used this long enough to determine if the long-term claims are true, I can say that looking at the ingredients, I'd be surprised if they are. This doesn't have a long list of ingredients, and those that are listed are fairly basic moisturizing or skin softening ingredients. The top 3 ingredients are all widely used, inexpensive silicones and it's debatable that there's even enough vitamin A & C in here to have an effect. The product itself feels thick almost to the point of stickiness, and left my dry skin feeling greasy for quite a while after application. Despite this, it is not a moisturizer, and though it feels strange putting moisturizer over an oil slick (or silicone slick, as the case may be) it is necessary for all but the oiliest skin types. In conclusion, since I've had no ill effects, I will continue to test this, but I certainly can't say the product justifies it's high-end price tag^^95DDB774-D45E-6C86-8D74-4965EE147191

Pros: It goes on smooth, sinks in, and isn't cloying. I couldn't find anything in the ingredients that I know is hard on my skin. My face still feels smooth several hours later. This stuff also smells really good. Cons: The ingredients are available here and on the web if you want to peruse them for ingredients to which you are sensitive, but they aren't available direct from the source (Lisa Hoffman's website). Not good under makeup. Technically, this is a nighttime product, so it's fine. But out of curiosity I tried it anyway at night and in the morning. Both times, my face needed extra moisturizer. For under-makeup use, I'll need to let it soak in quite a bit longer so my makeup doesn't cake on like it did this morning. Also, there are cheaper products out there that feel better on my skin, like Paula's Super Antioxidant Concentrate which runs about $25. But I think all of the above are just about personal preference. Overall it's a pretty nice product. I'm going to keep trying it to see if it eventually breaks me out or makes my skin look better. It will be great it ends up working out.

How could you not like this product?? It contains Vitamins A and C, and it's a topical application for your skin!! I love this product...it goes on a little greasy, but it definitely sinks into the skin. It feels wonderful....and it's all good things for your skin! Vitamin A and esp Vitamin C are great for sun damaged skin, like mine. My skin looks and feels great!

This product is incredible! Unlike most women, I applied it to the back of my hands first as they are beginning to show age more than my face (my mother has always had youthful skin - it's in the genes - YES!). It smells terrific, absorbed easily as I massaged it in, and after it had 'dried/sunk in', I could not believe the immediate difference I noticed in the fine lines and crepy (sp?) look to my hands which were affected very positively by this application. I have very sensitive facial skin so I decided to use it on my hands first. After using it once on my face, I decided to complete the trial of a different product that was included in my intro kit on my face before introducing a new product.

This was more moisturizing than I can use( I'm very oily) but I will say that when I applied it to try i was wowed by how good it felt on the skin . It's like velvet. So smooth . I passed mine onto a friend with dry skin and she loves it. She loves the moisture and the feel. She had a wow moment when she tried on her hand. Good stuff. I like the Lisa Hoffman line in general.

I really like this serum. I have been mixing it up, using it at night one day and then the morning the next day. You do not need a lot at all...the 1st time I used a whole pump and it was way too greasy. After I figured out how much I needed, I really enjoy it. When used at night with the Mcream, I wake up with a fresh dewey glow. When I use it in the morning, I still get that glow,but I also get a very smooth face in which to apply my makeup. I have already gotten compliments on my skin! This is one product I could see investing in.

At first I wasn't sure about this product. It felt a little greasy going on, but it dries to a really nice matte finish. I've been using it twice a day and have noticed my skin feeling a lot less dry. I haven't really noticed any of the fine lines diminishing, but I'll keep using it.

This is a great moisturizing product. I normally have dry, flakey skin around my nose and chin, and this combined with the the 3Lab moisturizer have completed eliminated it. It also absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't feel greasy or heavy at all. It is also a very generous size to be a deluxe sample. I love it!

I am very pleased with this product. I have very sensitive skin and so I tend to be hesitant to put any new moisturizer on my face as I tend to break out. I used the peel first, then the flower mist and then put a layer of this on before bed last night. I swear it seemed like some of my skin discoloration had faded over night. I am going to use this every night until I run out and if first results are any indicator I will be using this for a long, long time!

This is one of the best products that I have used in a long time. Because it is a semi-thick serum and feels a bit greasy when you first put it on, I did not expect to love it as much as I do. But to my surprise, the dry down of the product is pretty quick (under five minutes) and my skin is left with this matte finish and feels powdery soft. In fact it almost seems like the perfect primer under my foundation. This serum is definitely one of my new favorite things!

This is a very smooth and hydrating feeling product. So far I've only used it 2x but am really liking it and not having any trouble layering it under my tinted SPF moisturizer. You don't need more than 1 1/2 pumps to cover your face so don't over pump (like I did)... a little goes a long way.
