Glossybox USA June 2012

So this is the second Glossybox that I have received and I think it is a really great service!

If you are not familiar, Glossybox is another sample service that I am doing, but it is a more high-end box in my opinion. I got the June box on July 7th, so there is some speculation that they charge early and use your money to buy samples??? Or maybe they are just a little behind on their delivery.

It offers
  • 5 exciting travel-sized beauty products, delivered each month
  • The crème de la crème of international brands
  • Exclusive access to global beauty trends

  • The options to buy the box are
    • $21/month
    • $115/6 months
    • $220/12 months
You can sign up here: http://www.glossybox.com/index.php/
They do have a referral and rewards system where you gain and can use “Glossydots”
    • You get 20 Glossydots for each feedback you give on your box items.
    • You also can get 200 Glossydots if a friend signs up, however there are no referral links available just yet.
    • When you collect 1,000 of them you ccan use them to get a free Glossybox.

This Month's Theme is "Summer Simplicity":
“As the weather heats up and you head to the beach, it's time to get back to the basics and let your natural skin glow. This month's GLOSSYBOX allows you to do so....With your natural beauty restored, all you'll need to worry about is which bikini to wear.”

Here is what I got inside:
    • A Glossybox mini magazines
      • Very cute addition!!
    • First Aid Beauty Smooth Shave Cream, sample (retail value, $4.85)
    • Wella Professional Enrich Moisturizing Treatment, sample (retail value, $1.99)
      • Smells amazing!! Can't wait to try this!
    • Ahava Mineral Botanic Hibiscus & Fig Velvet Cream Wash, sample (retail value, $3.88)
      • Also smells delicious!
    • Orfa Cosmetics - Eye Shadow ICE  in Goldilocks, full size (retail value, $14.95)
      • Beautiful Golden Color:

    • Vbeauté - Lite Up, Buying Time, & Eye Never, 3 samples (retail value, $13.18)
      • I like that they include 3 samples, but I wish the serum and cream were a little bit bigger.
    • **Extra** Urban Organic Fragrance from Perfume Organic, sample (retail value, ~ $5.25)
      • Smells nice and lemon-y, like I want to add a couple of drops to a bath
Retail value of the box: $39 without extra, and $44.25 with the extra
So I am really excited to see where the service is going to continue to go, and I love how they threw in a mini-magazine this month. Hopefully they will get on track with billing and boxes for those that are doing monthly subscriptions!
If you have any questions, let me know!

    Bonnie
